The wife of Formula One ace, Michael Schumacher, has asked the international media gathered at the Grenoble to leave the hospital that is caring for her husband after his skiing accident.
Corrine Schumacher has spoken out for the first time since the accident at the ski resort in the French Alps on December 29th.
She has stressed the importance that the medical staff be left in peace to do their duties.
Corrine being pursued by photographers while visiting the hospital that is treating her husband’s brain injury one day after his accident.
In a statement, Corrine said: “It’s very important to me that you ease the burden on the doctors and the hospital so that they can do their work in peace.”
The wife also extended her appeal, adding: “Please also leave our family alone.”
The 45-year-old German remains in a medically induced coma since the brutal accident, after hitting his head on a rock.
