Ringing in the New Year, in style! The city of Dubai already has the title of the world’s tallest skyscraper, but it sought to break another record for the New Year.
Over 50,000 fireworks were let loose to ring in the New Year in the city, much to the amusement to its spectators.
Gulf News reports that in just 60 seconds, the Dubai New Year’s event beat the previous 2012 record of 77,282 fireworks.
