Make-up artist Teriasia Dean made headlines this week when she found a Coach purse containing $800 in the carpark of her apartment complex and made sure it was returned to its owner.
“It wasn’t my bag. It wasn’t my stuff. That’s not my belongings; Teriasia Dean’s name was not on any of those cards,” she said, according to the Oklahoma Star.
Teriasia, from Oklahoma, later told news station KFOR in an interview that she’d been in and out of the hospital three times this year and faced eviction if she couldn’t pay $670 in rent.
People listening to the interview were touched by her story and honesty, many called up asking how they could help with one kind soul donating $800 in cash.

Teriasia was visibly moved by the generous donation
“You have people who don’t even know you who do things for you and bless you,” Dean told KFOR. “I’ve always been a giver, and it’s different to receive.”
It’s stories such as these that show the goodwill in our world.
