Supermodel Kate Upton and boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy have reportedly gone their separate ways.
According to Us Weekly, the couple, who were believed to be together for about six months have decided to call it quits.
The website is claiming that their hectic schedules are to blame for the end of the relationship.
“They are really good friends still and speak all the time, but their schedules just made it too difficult and it fell apart,” an insider told Us. “[Chmerkovskiy] has a lot of respect for her, but it just wasn’t working anymore.”
Chmerkoskiy, a professional dancer who regularly appears on Dancing with the Stars, spoke about the relationship earlier this year.
“She’s an amazing person,” Chmerkovskiy gushed. “We have an incredible time together, and, you know, I definitely didn’t see that coming and I think neither did she.”
“We enjoy each other’s company very much and like I said, she’s a great girl that I never thought anything romantic like this could have happened.”
