A few months ago it emerged that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes were going through a rough patch and now rumours are rife that they are on a break.
Apparently the couple, who have been dating for over two years, realised that their relationship was moving too quickly.
A source told Radar Online: “There was a realization before Thanksgiving that they took things way too fast and were rushing toward a marriage that neither of them particularly needed. They’ve decided to take a break to re-evaluate their romance.”
It comes only a matter of weeks after it emerged that Gosling, whose directorial debut How to Catch a Monster is due out next year, is back in touch with his former flame Rachel McAdams. According to reports the actress turned to her ex and Notebook co-star after she split from Michael Sheen.
