MY SPECIAL K MULTIGRAIN PORRIDGE TRIAL:
DAY 1: Rushing out the door, after getting my three kids ready for school and picking clothes up off every step of the stairs, I grabbed my Special K Multigrain porridge Red Berries pack and brought it with me to work. I found the convenience of a couple of minutes in the microwave at work saved me time at home. I enjoyed my refreshing fruity breakfast at my computer desk while waiting for my computer to turn on. The taste can be described as refreshing, it’s extremely convenient and to be honest I lasted until lunch time before I ate again, whereas normally I would be picking on something at my desk before 1pm.
DAY 2: Another hectic day in the life of a single mother of three, I put my Original Multigrain porridge in my bag and packed the kids into the car, dropped them at school and headed to work where I was actually looking forward to eating my breakfast in peace. This multigrain porridge is growing on me, I am enjoying the taste and the texture and most of all the convenience of it all. I get to have a breakfast that actually satisfies me rather than a half eaten slice of toast running out the door.
DAY 3: Thankfully today is Saturday, no running around like a headless chicken, and I can have my porridge at home. I picked the Almond & Honey one today just so I can taste them all and see which one I prefer, my kids are beginning to take notice of this porridge and my 5 year old is even asking to taste it as another option to the cereal she usually has in the morning. I feel this has really benefited me and I’m making an effort to be healthy. Once again the taste is divine and completely satisfies me until lunch time.

DAY 4: Ahhhh nothing like a Sunday to laze around in PJs! Who am I kidding… today is soccer Sunday and I have stand in a field for a few hours pretending I’m not cold, to support my kids. I had porridge again this morning and think the Red Berry flavour is my favourite. Thankfully, I had a nice helping as it was 3pm before I got to eat again and let me tell you, only for having the Special K this morning I wouldn’t have lasted until that time without eating. This is a very worthwhile breakfast and I am feeling more energetic and fulfilled since I changed to this breakfast last week. Thank you Special K.
DAY 5: Back to work today and that means back to rushing around in the mornings again. A mother’s job is never done so I grabbed my Almond & Honey and brought to work with me today. Once again I enjoyed the delicious taste at my desk without disturbance. I don’t know if I am giving too much away but I have noticed I am having more bowel movements. This is really making a difference to my mood and energy and I think I will definitely be sticking to this breakfast regime of Special K.
DAY 6: Today I decided to have my Special K Multigrain Red Berries in the tub rather than in the sachet just to try it out, I have to say I much prefer the sachets that you mix with the milk rather than the one with water. Once again it’s the convenience of this breakfast that I can’t highlight enough.
DAY 7: Once again a hectic morning in my household, kids fighting, can’t find shoes, no homework done etc… I grabbed my sachet of Almond & Honey and brought it to work with me. While I was at work waiting for the computer to turn on, I popped my porridge into the microwave and had my breakfast made faster than the computer could say good morning to me. Again, I love the convenience of this breakfast and the refreshing taste that I experience every time I put the spoon in my mouth.
