Matthew Perry appeared on BBC’s Newsnight last night to debate drug courts and drug addictions with a panel. The panel was assembled to discuss the prospect of drug courts, which would get drug addicts the help they needed rather than handing down harsher court verdicts.
Perry was joined on the panel by journalist Peter Hitchens and Baroness Meacher, who chairs the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Drug Policy Reform.
However, despite the fact that Perry was there to debate the benefits of drug courts, he didn’t seem to have a lot of knowledge on the subject.
Let’s just say things became a little awkward.
