Kate Middleton’s pregnancy was well documented in the media. Coverage of the birth of Prince George was televised globally, with an outpour of good wishes flooding in from all over.
It seems one artist thought he would go that one step further in celebrating the new arrival to the Royal family.
25-year-old artist Nick Lord painted this fairly risqué portrait of a pregnant Kate Middleton in a leopard print bra and skin-coloured bottoms.
It seems Lord, who was crowned the Sky Arts’ ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’ last night, has a very vivid imagination.

Safe to say one of the strangest paintings we’ve seen in a while.
Fret not art enthusiasts, Lord didn’t receive his ‘Portrait of the Year’ award for this masterpiece*, it was his painting of an Iraq war veteran Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry that sealed the deal.
We have to admit, we’re a little perturbed by this image… who knew Kate Middleton and Kat Slater bought lingerie from the same store.
*Masterpiece is a strong word.
Hat-tip to Jezebel
