Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have separated after a decade of marriage.
According to reports this morning, it was a mutual decision for the couple who have a four-year-old son, Walker, together.
A representative for the actress told Us Weekly: “Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time. Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”
The pair tied the knot back in January 2003 having met on the Broadway production of Rent eight years previously.
Idina has also starred in Wicked and currently voices one of the characters in Disney’s Frozen while Taye has had numerous roles in the likes of Baggage Claim, Ally McBeal and Chicago.
Idina and Taye have decided to separate.
