Rapper Dappy of N-Dubz fame has been hospitalised after he was kicked in the face by a horse.
He is thought to have been riding the horse in the grounds of his Hertfordshire home on Wednesday when the animal became frightened and threw him off.
A source told 3am: ‘Dappy sees himself as a bit of a Lord of the Manor and he was cantering around when the horse reared up suddenly.
‘He was left sprawled on the ground, and to make matters even worse, the horse then stamped on his face. There was blood everywhere.’
Dappy was required to stay in hospital overnight
His injuries required an overnight stay in hospital and he left yesterday ahead of a performance today in Newcastle.
The 26-year-old’s spokesperson has since confirmed the rapper received medical treatment after his fall.
‘I can confirm that my client was involved in a horse riding accident at home where he fell from his horse and was subsequently kicked in the face,’ he said.
‘Dappy was rushed to hospital where he received medical treatment and is now recovering.’
The rapper was given a suspended sentence at Guildford Crown Court (Surrey, England) in February for his involvement in a fight at a petrol station.
