There had been quite a few rumours flying about that Kelly Rowland was in fact engaged after the singer was spotted wearing a sparkler.
However, sources close to the singer have now confirmed to Us Weekly that the rumours are true.
According to the website, the singer is engaged to marry her manager and boyfriend Tim Witherspoon.
“She has been showing [the ring] off to friends and family and is very happy,” one insider told Us. “But she wants to keep it between them to enjoy and celebrate for a bit longer.”
Kelly had previously stated that she was too busy to walk down the aisle, but it seems that has not stopped her from getting engaged.
The singer was previously tied to football player Roy Williams, but the pair split in 2005.
Rowland has since claimed that she was far “too young for marriage.”
