Actress Elizabeth Olsen has confirmed that she is to play Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch in Joss Whedon’s upcoming Avengers sequel.
The actress confirmed her role to MTV in the superhero sequel, where she also talked about working alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson again. Taylor-Johnson is to play Quicksilver.

The pair recently filmed Godzilla together, where they played husband and wife but this time, they’re playing a brother and sister.
“It’s also fun because even though in Godzilla we play husband and wife, we don’t have a lot of scenes together”, she admitted.
“I just love him. I love his family. I love his kids. I’m so excited we get to work with each other more and to actually work with each other. I think it’s going to be fun.”
Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit cinemas on May 1st, 2015. Production is expected to begin in March of next year.
