Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has a new admirer in the form of X Factor winner James Arthur.
They met when participating on BBC Three game show Sweat the Small Stuff, although they were on opposite sides.
Host Nick Grimshaw said to James: ‘You told our researcher that Helen Flanagan is your dream woman, didn’t you?’
An embarrassed James replied: ‘That researcher told me she wasn’t going to say anything.’
Helen was chuffed with James’ admission, saying: ‘James, I am so flattered, genuinely.’
It seems James Arthur has a soft spot for Helen Flanagan
25-year-old James and Helen (23) got into the spirit of things by acting as if they were a real life couple for the game show.
They were made to act out a scene pretending to be a couple later on, with Helen cooking dinner for James who had just arrived home from work.
A source told The Sun: ‘They both really got into it. There were lots of flirty looks throughout the show and you could sense the chemistry. During a break in filming, James was overheard asking Helen for her phone number.
‘After the show she was seen going to find him in his dressing room.’
