Pop star Lady Gaga has split from her beau Taylor Kinney, it has been reported.
According to the source, the couple’s relationship had been on the rocks for a while because of Gaga’s “insane workload.”
”Taylor has told her she’s married to her career and that he can’t deal with dating Gaga the mega-star and all her obsessions and alter-egos” a source told The Sun newspaper.
The source told the paper that the couple barely got to see each other. They’ve been dating since 2011.
“Gaga never stops working — she writes songs in the shower and dreams up new outfits in her sleep” they said.
”She has a whole security team as well as several assistants with her at all times. Out of every month there’s maybe just one night out of her and his crazy work schedules that they can be a couple.”
However, the source said maybe the couple would be able to work out their differences over Thanksgiving.
“Gaga’s hoping to meet up with Taylor when their schedules allow to talk things through” said the insider.
“Taylor told her they need time apart, and it’s looking as if this might lead to a permanent split. He’s been hanging out with other girls in Chicago and hasn’t seen Gaga for weeks now.”
The singer has had a tough year, undergoing debilitating hip surgery back in February and losing her pet dog Alice last week.
Gaga recently hinted on Twitter that she may be having trouble balancing her career with a relationship, tweeting:
“#iwannabewithu is also about following my dreams but falling in love at the same time.”
“’#Wish I could have both, but i can’t on the road [SIC].”
