Brittany Bloemke and Natalie Snyder from the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital are the two nurses responsible for this amazing viral video featured last month. Patients and staff members got together to sing along to Sara Bareilles’ hit song ‘Brave’, which unsurprisingly became an overnight Internet sensation.
Bloemke and Snyder, along with cancer patient Sarah Ewald, appeared via video link with Showbiz Tonight to have a quick chat about their unlikely online stardom. The girls were expressing just how overwhelmed they were by the response, when Sara Bareilles herself joined in to the conversation much to the disbelief of the three nurses.
The singer joined via video call to tell the girls just how touched and inspired she was by every individual in the clip.
“You guys are just so inspiring,” Bareilles told the trio.
The songwriter promised to pay a visit to the Children’s hospital the next time she is in the area.
“It is something I’m going keep with me near and dear to my heart forever and ever,” she added.
