Actor Victor Rasuk has joined the Fifty Shades of Grey cast as Christian Grey’s on-screen rival.
Rasuk has been cast as José Rodriguez, Anastasia Steele’s close friend in the screen adaption of the popular erotica novel.
The pair’s relationship in the movie causes a rise of jealousy from her billionaire beau.
The 29-year-old actor has also starred in HBO’s How to Make It In America, Raising Victor Vargas and Che. Rasuk’s casting follows the recent news that True Blood’s Luke Grimes to is play Christian’s brother Elliot.
It’s also been reported that the start date for filming has been pushed back because of the recasting of Christian Grey.
Production on the film was supposed to begin in November but has now been pushed back to early December.
The movie is expected to be released in August 2014.
