Irish Footballers Strip Off For Charity Calendar

Her

Irish footballers from all over the country are baring their bodies in order to raise funds for Gary O’Neill who was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Twelve players, one from each club in the League Of Ireland Premier Division, have stripped off for a 2014 calendar which will raise money for the Drogheda striker.

PFAI ONeill calendar

Twelve footballers get their kits off for the calendar.

It was James Chambers, of Shamrock Rovers, who came up with the idea but everybody, including the Professional Footballer’s Association of Ireland (PFAI), is getting behind it.

If you are looking for a stocking filler for a friend (don’t lie, it’s totally for yourself) or simply want to help the cause you can pick up the calendar tomorrow.

Sponsored by Ford, it’s on sale for €9.99 and is available from HMV, Drogheda United club shop, Shamrock Rovers club shop and the PFAI offices in Abbotstown. The Irish Cancer Society will receive a share of the proceeds raised.
