If you were a child of the 80’s/early 90’s, actually if you were interested in daytime TV at all, you may be aware of Murder She Wrote, a woman who brought a severe amount of destruction with her everywhere she went.
Well, NBC have announced today that the show will be returning, but without its original lead actress Angela Lansbury.
According to Us Weekly, NBC have announced that they will be reviving the show with Octavia Spencer, she of The Help fame as the lead.
Deadline have reported that the show will be an hour long and somewhere in the vein of Fargo or Bones.
Better yet, Lansbury has apparently been approached to appear in the reboot but there are no reports yet if this will happen.
There is no news yet on when the series will air, but get ready for this to come back! (They better not change the theme tune.
