Model and TV presenter Kelly Brook has decided it’s time for a new business venture and plans to open her own bar.
Teaming up with Nick House, the man behind capital hotpsots Mahiki and Whisky Mist, the new bar Steam & Rye will have a Great Gatsby theme, indulging Kelly’s love for the USA.
The venue, which caters for 550 people, will open next month in what used to be the Bank of New York in the City of London and will comprise of a restaurant and bar offering live music and dancing.
‘I have always been inspired by the glamour and opulence of 1940s Americana, and am thrilled to be collaborating on this project with Nick House,’ Kelly said in a statement. ‘This is my first venture into night life hospitality, and we’ve teamed up to deliver something extraordinary – there is nothing like it in London’.
