Graham Dwyer, 41, of Kerrymount Close in Foxrock in Dublin has been charged with the murder of Elaine O’Hara.
Dwyer was charged in Dún Laoghaire District Court this morning.
He had been questioned overnight at Blackrock Garda station in connection with O’Hara’s disappearance, before being charged with her murder shortly after 7am.
The father of two was charged with the murder of O’Hara, 36, on August 22nd, 2012.
The childcare assistant went missing from her home in Killiney last year. Her body was found in the Dublin Mountains this year by a walker out with her dog.
A bag containing personal items belonging to Elaine, as well as her mobile phone, were discovered in a reservoir in the days before and after her remains were found.
When asked by the judge if Dwyer had anything to say this morning, he said: “I do: Not guilty.”
Dwyer, an architect, has been remanded in custody, to appear in Cloverhill District Court, on October 25th.
