Amanda Holden has revealed she was sexually assaulted by a fellow celebrity.
Her new autobiography My Life: No Holding Back is very honest and the star says she kept it a secret for so long as she felt part of her deserved it.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge has said that at the time of the attack she had just gotten back together with former flame Les Dennis.
“We went to an event together and on my way back from the loo I was cornered by a famous comedian, who tried to kiss me and put his hands in places they shouldn’t have been.”
“I was scared and tried to push him away, making light of it so he would leave without causing a fuss, but he wasn’t put off.”
“As I tried to fight him off, I caught sight of our reflection in a mirror. My body went limp, and I just stood there as he groped and nuzzled me, observing myself from afar.”

The 42-year old only realised it was sexual assault when she confided in a family member, “Only when I confided in a family member did I realise it was sexual assault. Part of me felt like I deserved it.”
Holden is now happily married to music producer Chris Hughes and they have two children, Alexa (6) and 21-month-old Hollie.
The actress has said the attack left her feeling “cheap and utterly worthless”, she felt she couldn’t confide in her then partner Les Dennis as he would have made a scene.
