Bones and NCIS actor Heath Freeman passes away, aged 41

Heath’s friends have been sharing tributes to him online.

Heath Freeman, who starred in the crime series Bones and NCIS, has passed away at the age of 41.

The cause of his death has not been revealed.

Heath played Benjamin Frank in NCIS in 2003, before appearing as Howard Epps in Bones between 2005 and 2007.

As well as these roles, he played Gavin Dillon in Raising the Bar between 2008 and 2009. He also worked as a voice actor on Spartacus: Blood and Sand between 2009 and 2010.

Man of his friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to him.

Actress Ashley Benson posted a photo of herself with Heath on her Instagram story and wrote: “I’ll love you forever @heathmonster RIP.”

Shanna Moakler, his friend, poster a picture on Instagram and wrote: “Heartbroken to hear of the loss of my dear friend Heath Freeman, talented actor, director, producer, outstanding chef and a solid friend.

“You will be so dearly missed and I will cherish every amazing memory we all had… and we have a lot of great ones!!”

Freeman studied acting and film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

His IMDB page states that he was set to appear in Terror on the Prairie and Devil’s Fruit, which are due to come out next year.
