Well, kind of.
The premiere date for season five of Outlander has finally been confirmed – for fans in the United States.
The Golden Globe nominated series will return on Starz from Sunday, February 16, 2020.
There’s no word just yet on when it will premiere in Ireland, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed it won’t be much later.

It was also announced the official Outlander presentation at New York Comic Con 2019 will take place on October 5, 2019.
Caitrona Balfe and Sam Heughan are both confirmed to attend, alongside Duncan LaCroix (Murtagh), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Jocasta) and David Berry (Lord John Grey).
Author Diana Gabaldon will also attend the panel.
Production on the 12-episode season five began in May this year. It is expected that will be adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s The Fiery Cross.

According to Deadline, the upcoming season will find the Frasers fighting fighting for their family – as well as the home they have created on Fraser’s Ridge.
Jamie is determined to find a way to keep everything he has created in America safe, and to protect those who have been looking to him for leadership and protection.
But he also must hide his relationship with Murtagh Fitzgibbons, whom he has been ordered to hunt down and kill.
And now that her family is together at long last, Claire has to use her medical knowledge – as well as her foresight – to keep them from being split once again.
