Love Island’s Joe Garratt had a savage response to Lucie Donlan admitting her feelings for Tommy Fury.
During their time together in the villa, the 21-year-old surfer repeatedly told her partner, Joe, that she didn’t fancy Tommy.
But he became suspicious about their relationship, which led to a number of arguments between the pair – and for their Islanders to vote them one of the least compatible couples, with Joe being sent home.
Then, on Friday night, Lucie pulled Tommy aside to let him know she would be “open” to getting to know him in a romantic way.
Sitting in the snug in the villa garden, she told him that she knew “there could be something more” between them.
However, Tommy shut her down, assuring her he had “found everything I want in Molly-Mae.”
As the scenes played out on screen, Joe took to Twitter to tell his followers to “always trust your gut instincts.”

He previously told The Sun that he would “love” to get more time in the villa with Lucie, as he vowed to wait for her on the outside.
He said:
“I would love to get more time with Lucy in there. It is such an amazing experience and when you’re doing it with someone you care about its just perfect.
“I would never rule out the possibility of going back in. I met somebody who I fell for so I have already won that in that sense.
“I would love to go back in and see her. I think that would be really nice and I think she would love that.”
Given that fans are convinced Joe could be returning to the villa, things may be about to get very awkward….
