If there’s one thing we’ve learned over Game of Thrones’ seven seasons, it is that nobody is ever safe. Ever.
And chances are, if you think a character is safe…well, that’s just not gonna go well.
Like Ramsay Bolton said…
One of the biggest (and most brutal) anything-can-happen moments was that scene with Ned Stark, back in season one’s ninth episode.
Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, admitted Ned’s brutal behedding was the “most shocking scene that [she] didn’t see coming”.
She continued:
“From then on, I started to distrust the show as to, like, whether they’d kill my favourite character or not.”
The actress also spoke about her favourite moments from the series, from her favourite scene to watch – the Battle of the Bastards, FYI – to her favourite memory filming.
She said:
“My favourite day on set was the day I reunited with Maisie [Williams, who plays Arya Stark].
“It was the funniest and most difficult day of shooting ever, as we couldn’t keep it together.”
Sansa has had one of the biggest transformations throughout the last few years, and Turner shared the one piece of advice she would give to her character in season one.
She continued:
“If I could give Sansa advice in season one – absorb, learn, take nothing for granted, and know that there will be a positive outcome of every negative situation that you’re in.”
