Is nothing sacred?
Game Of Thrones is back in a few weeks – and that’s the final time we’ll ever utter those words because everybody’s favourite fantasy series is coming to an end.
Season eight will be the last season HBO will release of the show, and although the realisation that we’ll never witness a fresh batch of those iconic opening title credits again is a bitter sweet one, it was time for the show to end.
And we will miss is dearly.

And while we are all of course absolutely gagging for the final series to drop onto our screens (April 15 guys, mark it down), we’re also pretty OK with waiting.
We want to bask in the excitement with everybody else at the same time. We want to experience the beginning of the final season together.
We want this to be special.
We are not everybody though, and it appears that some people just can’t be good like the rest of us and wait until the first episode drops – they have to go and leak it and spoil it and ruin everybody’s fun.
How very inconsiderate of them.

Now, thankfully the episode itself is nowhere to be seen but a detailed synopsis of what allegedly goes down in the first hour has appeared in a sub-Reddit.
The details came from a person who goes by ‘Frikidoctor’ on Twitter, who claimed that a video in which they discuss the plot of the first episode was swiftly removed from YouTube upon its upload.
Fishy, indeed… But also stop spoiling things for people that they really enjoy, maybe?
The (supposed) details of the episode are available in the GOT sub-Reddit, but in the interest of not being total assholes, we’re obviously not going to go near any of it.
We’re waiting this out with the rest of you, lads.
C’mon. We’re nearly there.
