Because of course there is.

Over the last few months, there has been plenty of speculation that there was some kind of rift between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

It all began when it was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going to be moving out of Kengisnton Palace, with the news followed by reports Kate was left “in tears” after a fitting for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid’s dress.

And then there was speculation that there was no feud, after Kate’s recent comments about Meghan’s pregnancy.

Then, again, there were rumours that they “fell out” after Meghan reportedly told off a member of Kate’s staff – the only time that Kensington Palace actually issued a statement in response.

'Trying to find their feet': There's a new development in the Kate and Meghan feud narrative

In recent weeks, the feud was said to have been put to rest thanks to Prince Charles.

Now, the rumoured rift is being turned into a documentary – and it will premiere next month.

TLC have announced a one-hour special, Kate v. Meghan: Princesses at War?, which will feature interviews with a number of royal experts about the feud.

The show will take an in-depth look at the lives of Meghan and Kate, as well as the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William, and try to figure out if there’s truth to the rumoured feud.

Kate v. Meghan: Princesses at War? will air on TLC in the United States on Tuesday, February 5.
