Prince Harry’s body language changed in a BIG way after the royal baby announcement

Cathy Donohue

The royal baby announcement has received a lot of attention.

Just before the royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga kicked off, Prince Harry and Meghan shared the news that they were expecting their first child.

There has been a major focus on the royal couple since then and according to one body language expert, Prince Harry’s actions and gestures have changed dramatically since the announcement was made.

Pre-pregnancy, Harry and Meghan would walk alongside each other but now Harry walks slightly ahead of his wife, taking on a protective stance.

Awww.

Speaking to Elite Daily, body language expert Lisa Mitchell said:

“He’s in front of her with his arm overlapping her torso in almost every picture of them walking, showing that he’s there to support her and be a protective barrier between her and others if she needs him to be”.

It’s also been suggested that Harry is now mimicking his wife’s tendency to touch her stomach and yeah, they could be on to something given all the photos showing him do this.

At the launch of the charity cookery book helping families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire, Meghan was spotted touching her tummy too and this was before the couple shared their baby news.

Harry was also spotted doing the same thing on the day and apparently, this is common for men who are about to become dads.

Speaking to Express.co.uk previously, body language expert, Judi James said:

“As he walked behind his wife his hand also performed an act of subliminal mimicry, rising to his waistband in an act of empathetic thinking that many new fathers will use”.
