An official hashtag.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are getting married on Friday, 12 October and there’s been a lot of talk in recent weeks about their big day and whether it will be televised.
ITV will host live coverage of the big day together with a This Morning special and there’s already great excitement building about another royal wedding.
However, never mind the TV schedule for a minute because it’s the hashtag we’re interested in.
Eugenie and Jack’s wedding will be referred to as #royalwedding2 for social media purposes, simply because this isn’t the first royal wedding to happen in 2018.
From @ITV: the #royalwedding2 will be shown live in a special edition of @thismorning from 9:25 to 12:30 on Friday 12 October. @EamonnHolmes & @RuthieeL will present from a studio in Windsor. pic.twitter.com/Bm8YQC5mHM

Harry and Meghan tied the knot back in May and #royalwedding was a major talking point that week.
Of course, it’s a smart decision so that coverage of the weddings doesn’t get muddled but it is funny all the same.

There were rumours that Princess Eugenie and her husband-to-be Jack had to wait for Meghan and Harry to announce their engagement before they could which can’t have been much fun.
Despite the fact that their royal wedding is being referred to as number two, we’re still super excited for it and can’t wait to see what the bride will wear.
Recent reports suggest that her dress will be “very different” and we can’t wait to see what it’s like.
