But even though there might only be two episodes left, what killer episodes they’re going to be. Tonight is the one many have been waiting for as the islander’s families make their way into the villa to be reunited.
And while it’s mostly a big love fest, there is one entry that causes a bit of a stir – Alexandra’s mam.
Yes, the softly spoken mum makes sure to have a few words with Dr Alex over his treatment of her daughter as of late and we think she’s dead right.
In the preview for tonight’s episode, Alexandra and her mam sit with Alex and his family as Mammy Cane says:
“One thing that I didn’t grasp was when you recoupled, you seemed to expect her to be grateful, and you I think made some comment ‘what’s the matter with her, why she’s so grumpy?’
“What did you expect a girl to feel like after she’d been rejected and then you dared to bring her back to her side? I thought ‘hey young man, I’ll have words with you!”

Alright, so it was a fairly tame talking to, but we’re just glad Alex was told that his behaviour was frankly pure shite.
She did go on to chat with Alexandra about the relationship and it’s clear she wasn’t keen on the doctor.
“I’ve been trying to pull myself back from constantly feeling ‘I could kill him!’
“He thought he could just drop you and pick you up at whim, and that’s not how life works,” she added.
