Pete Davidson has deleted his entire Instagram feed.

Fans noticed on Monday that while his account still exists, every one of the photos is gone – including those with fiancée, Ariana Grande.

This led many to assume the pair had split, which the Set It Up star explained was not the case.

The comedian took to Instagram Stories to explain why he removed the photos, assuring fans that there’s “nothing wrong.”

He said:

“No there’s nothing wrong. no nothing happened. no there’s nothing cryptic about anything. I just don’t wanna be on Instagram anymore.

“Or on any social media platform. the internet is an evil place and doesn’t make me feel good.

“Why should i spend any time on negative energy when my real life is f*cking lit. the fact that i even have to say this proves my point.

“I love you all and i’m sure i’ll be back at some point.”

The move comes after he hit back at Grande’s fans, who began to criticise him for a comment he left on one of her Instagram photos.

The singer shared a photo of her “best friend”, her late grandfather, who passed from cancer in July 2014.

Davidson commented “omg what a cutie” underneath the photo, which many fans took to mean he was talking about Grande.

He responded back to one fan:

“Are you guys all insane? I was talking about how cute her grandpa is. What’s wrong with that? You guys will really look for anything to attack people. It’s sad.”
