Everyone is saying the same thing about the results of THAT brutal Love Island twist

Love Island has bringing the drama as of late – and tonight was no exception.

Following Sunday night’s episode, which saw Caroline Flack make a grand return to the villa, there was another twist in store for the Islanders.

Charlie and Ellie, Megan and Wes, Sam and Georgia were all in the bottom three couples – with Charlie and Ellie ultimately leaving.

The brutal twist tonight [Monday, July 16] saw the Islanders have to chose to save one of two couples: Megan and Wes; and Sam and Georgia.

What they didn’t know at that point was the couple they didn’t save wouldn’t necessarily be leaving the villa.

After the housemates picked Megan and Wes to save, Caroline told them all:

“You haven’t been saved by the public or your fellow Islanders. Therefore, you cannot stay on Love Island as a couple.

“This doesn’t have to be the end of your Love Island journey. It’s a huge decision, it’s either split up and remain in the villa or stay together and leave.

“Before you make that decision, I can tell you there are two new boys and two new girls waiting to enter the villa today.

“If you decide to split up and stay on the Island, you will each date two new Islanders and head back to the villa.

“You will decide who to couple up with on the next recoupling. But you can’t be with each other.”

Both Georgia and Sam were stunned (as were the rest of the Islanders), and then they were sent off to deliberate.

They both said they were thinking about leaving. They both said that they would’ve found it hard to see the other in bed with someone else.

And then they told Caroline that they were planning on splitting up, but staying in the villa.

Following the reveal, everyone was thinking the exact same thing (even the other Islanders).
