Things were finally looking up for Dr Alex a few days back when Ellie showed up and vaguely mentioned that she wouldn’t mind coupling up with him even though she absolutely wasn’t that into it when he lobbed the gob all those three times.
Shame.
Now, however, it looks like Ellie’s about to go one step further and genuinely tell Alex that she doesn’t want to be with him.
Right before a recoupling too.

Tonight’s episode shows Ellie and Alex having a chat about their potential but very unlikely future.
She tells him that she’s not really sure if they should be together and that their relationship feels a bit “robotic.”
That’s not the relationship hun, that’s just Alex.
However, she is happy for them to recouple and see what happens in the context of the show. Right.
Anyway, at the end of the day (or episode), it won’t really matter what Ellie thinks because it’s up to the boys to choose who they want to couple up with, leaving the one remaining single girl to be unceremoniously dumped from the island.
And seeing as newcomer Sam is into Samira, Rosie, and Ellie, it could literally be anybody going home.
Except Dani. She’s safe.
