‘It’s not just about the body’: Cork lapdancing club seeking male dancers

#JobFairy... we guess?

Are you a lad with a secret Magic Mike-esque talent?

Fallen Angels, Cork’s premiere lap dancing club, wants to hear from you.

The night spot, located on Leitrim Street on the north side of the city, is holding auditions for male dancers.

A different emerging clientele in recent weeks has prompted manager Sean Walsh to make some new hires.

“We are getting a more diverse range of people now,” he told Cork’s Evening Echo.

“In the last few weeks, I’ve seen a good few couples and women too.”

“We are equal. We have the same rights so I thought why not give the ladies the opportunity to enjoy adult entertainment too.”

Hopeful male dancers are invited to come along and show off their moves for the club’s current female staff.

They’ll then sit down an interview with Sean.

“For us, it’s not just about the body. The guy will need to have personality too. Personality always wins out.”

This isn’t amateur hour, though – the successful candidate will need experience in dealing with the type of punters that Fallen Angels welcomes.

“The women that come here tend to be a lot less restrained (than the men),” said Sean.

“I think every guy secretly has a wild fantasy of stripping but when you are faced with a room full of screaming women the reality is a lot different.”
