The man went “ballistic” apparently.
Justin Bieber reportedly helped a girl escape from a man assaulting her at Coachella over the weekend.
Multiple sources confirmed to TMZ that Justin ended up punching the man, who had a grip around the woman’s neck so she was able to escape.
The website reports that the man entered a party that Justin was attending, “went ballistic” and grabbed a woman by the throat. The woman was apparently the man’s ex-girlfriend.
Justin tried to break it up, but the man was having none of it, shouting at Beiber and his mates. There was a struggle, and then, Justin “hit the man in the face and pushed him against the wall … allowing the woman to break free.”
The man was then escorted out of the venue, however a little while later began to chase after a black SUV that he thought Justin was riding away in.
He was then arrested.
Justin (as well as most celebrities) were a Coachella this weekend, and it seem like Justin was there to just have a good time with a few mates, as he has been posting pictures on Instagram throughout the weekend.
