Sometimes it’s the every day moments in a relationship which are particularly special.
Artist Catana Chewtwynd has been charming social media users for almost a year now with her Instagram comic series Catana Comics.
She has been using her relationship with her boyfriend John as inspiration for the adorably relatable panels.

She explained to Huffington Post:
“Every day there is something that happens where both John and I look at each and just know that it’s going to be a comic eventually.
“We are always having a good time so it’s very easy to find inspiration from every little thing.”

Catania hadn’t been planning to originally share their work online so John decided to take matters into his own hands.
He shared some of Catana’s work on Reddit, where it quickly went viral. And she says that the nerves went away once she saw people’s initial response.
She added:
“I knew he was going to post them, I just wasn’t thrilled about it.
“Of course, as soon as I saw the response those feelings instantly went away.”

The couple, who have been dating for more than a year, first met on Tinder and later ran into each other on a night out with pals.
And Catana told how John is “constantly amazing” her in day to day life.
She said:
“John is constantly amazing me with his generosity in the way he treats me and everyone else he meets.
“He is always finding ways to perk me up when I’m sad, support his friends, and is always finding the bright side of bad situations.
“He’s also pretty goofy which is perfect ― hours of free entertainment.”

And the comics have clearly struck a chord with social media users.
More than 1.1million people have followed Catana Comics since she began the Instagram account at the start of December 2016.
