We’ll all recognise this a mile off.
Simon Cowell is reportedly looking to secure a very iconic location for judge’s houses this year.
According to The Sun, he’s interested in none of than the Downton Abbey estate. The show’s producers are said to have visited Highclere Castle, where it’s filmed, to see if it would work for filming.
A source said:
“The show producers were keen to do something a bit different for Simon’s house this year and Highclere Castle was suggested.
They loved the idea. They think it would be great fun to have Simon sweeping down the grand drive in a vintage Rolls Royce to greet contestants.
And they would of course hire a team of butlers to wait on him and the contestants.
At the moment that is their number one choice.
The only other option currently being discussed is Simon’s house in LA. But it has obviously been used in the past.”
He usually brings the contestants away to either his house in LA or to a holiday spot so this new location would make things very different for Simon.
