This real-life princess wore an absolutely stunning wedding gown

Princess Ekaterina of Hanover knows how to wear a tiara.

Oh WOW.

We have a lot of love for beautiful wedding dresses and just look at this gown, worn by Princess Ekaterina of Hanover to marry Ernst August Hereditary Prince of Hanover on Saturday last (8th July).

The ceremony took place at the Marktkirche Hanover and 600 people watched Ekaterina arrive in the show-stopping dress, designed by her friend, designer Sandra Mansour.

The sleeves of the gown make a statement and the Chantilly lace is timelessly elegant, complemented beautifully by the fitted silhouette and full skirt.

Sandra told Who What Wear that she got the inspiration for the dress from “Russian floral motifs, we really wanted to highlight Ekaterina’s Russian heritage”.

The dress itself took ten months to complete and embroidering it with hand-stitched pearl embroidery was a four-month process.

Finished off with a stunning, full-length veil complete with sparkling tiara, it’s no surprise that fashion fans are gushing over this particular bridal look.

A princess gown for a real-life princess, it even rivals this Swarovski-encrusted gown, thought to be worth over €900,000.
