The awkward moment when you’re not invited to the VIP party being held in your own home… For one woman living in the Hamptons that is exactly what happened.
The home owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, awoke in the middle of the night at her residence on Flying Point Road in Water Mill, and wandered her way downstairs to find none other than songstress Alicia Keys and husband, Swizz Beatz throwing a party in her kitchen.
Alicia and her husband had rented a place in the swanky area of New York at the end of the summer, and accidentally entered the wrong the house.
The star couple had rented a home nearby.
A source told Page Six, “There was a woman upstairs in the bedroom at the house, and she heard noises downstairs. The woman’s daughter, a recent college grad, and her friends had been ‘pregaming’ earlier in the night before going out, so she assumed that the noise was that they’d all returned home.”
Both parties found the humorous side to the mishap and the partygoers went on their merry way, hopefully to the correct house.
