Royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton made their way to Balmoral over the weekend with baby George so he could finally meet his great-grandad Prince Philip.
The Duke of Edinburgh (92), had a difficult year after having an operation on his stomach.
He spent months recovering away from the limelight which meant that he missed all of the excitement of the birth of Prince George.
“This was an incredible moment for Philip”, a source told the Daily Mirror.
“He has been desperate to meet his great grandson and having the family together is really special for him.”
Prince Philip is said to be in good health.
It is the first time in over a century that three heirs to the throne have been alive at the same time.
