Trust us, if most women could get away with not wearing any makeup and still look great, we would be delighted. That process of applying makeup in the morning that becomes second nature is exhausting. The celebration when we realise we can lounge around the house without it is completely uplifting… Here’s why it annoys us so much.

It takes YEARS to perfect the right makeup for your skin tone and colour. YEARS. Then the brand decided they would bring out a new tone… RAGE! Now it’s not the same colour as my neck! Please bring back the old product!
2. The Powder Complex
Does it EVER not break in your makeup bag? EVER?
3. The Mascara Smudge
We would just like a mascara we can put on that doesn’t smudge in the corner from time to time. Oh, if it could stay in place when we start crying, even better.
4. The Mascara Face
Close your mouth there love! (If you can close your mouth, we salute you.
5. The Mascara Sneeze
Basically, mascara is a real problem. How come every time you put mascara on you sneeze literally straight away? No, the second set of lashes that is now painted on under your eye is not a good look.
6. The Eye Shadow Crease
We all have creases on the lids of our eyes, but when you are out and about all day, the smudging around the crease line makes you look like a witch.
7. Lipstick NEVER stays on.
Stop lying to us, makeup companies. Lipstick never stays on for longer than an hour. At a certain point, you just give up. We can either wear a lipstick and constantly retouch it all day or just forget it. Latter please!
8. The Teeth Conundrum.
You smiled in the mirror and checked your lipstick, but by the time you made it to work/the pub, you look like you are from Twilight and have just fed. How did this happen?
9. Everything runs out at the same time.
If you are wearing makeup every day and like your make up products, chances are you are spending quite a bit of money on it. So how does it all run out at the same time? How do you have to buy a full makeup kit in one go?
