Singer Refuses To Pay Grandmother’s $150,000 Funeral Bill

Funeral company plans to sue.

Clara Brathwaite was the late Grandmother of international superstar Rihanna.

When Clara passed away in June 2012, the 25-year-old was devastated and decided to give her a send off in grand style. 150 grand to be precise.

According to reports on TMZ the funeral company that organised the extravagent memorial service, that included huge tents, large multi-media screens, and exotic floral arrangements totalled to a staggering $150,000, which the singer only paid a quarter of.

The funeral company are now suing the star as she refuses to pay off the remainder of the bill believing it was too pricey.

There has been no response made to the accusations from Rihanna’s side as of yet.

The singer regularly called her Grandmother the ‘inspiration’ and driving force behind her successful career and had an inking dedicated to her shortly after her passing.
