Usher’s son, 5-year-old Usher Raymond V, has been hospitalized following an accident at the singer’s pool on August 5th.
According to TMZ, doctors are reporting that he is expected to make a full recovery.
The 5-year-old was playing at the pool with his aunt when dove in to retrieve a toy from the drain. His arm got stuck and neither his aunt or a maid from the house could free him.
Two male workers who had been working in the house reportedly came on the scene when they heard the maid screaming. They freed the boy and performed CPR.
Usher himself was not at the house at the time of the accident but made it to the ambulance with his son. Usher Raymond was admitted to the ICU.
This is not the first harrowing incident the family have gone through, Usher’s stepson Kile Glover died last year after he was struck by a jet ski.
The singer’s reps have not commented on the incident.
