Let’s be fair, there’s nearly more Irish people abroad than there is in Ireland these days. You would think it might be easier to get a hold of our favourite food types in the pockets we have taken over in certain cities, but not so. Here are nine foods we struggle to find abroad… but we actually can’t live without.*
1. Tayto
Can they PLEASE just start supplying these abroad to normal shops?

2. Cabdury Golden Crisp and Mint Crisp
If you can find these outside of Ireland, you are winning.

3. Caffrey’s Snowballs
Just why?

4. Mighty Munch
Monster Munch is NOT the same thing. It’s NOT THE SAME THING.

5. Red Lemonade
Trust us, they don’t have this outside of Ireland. Unless you found the only Irish shop in the village.

6. Curry cheese chips
“Hi, can I have a curry cheese chips please?… Ok fine, can you give me some curry sauce and some cheese and some chips? Now you have it.”

7. Barry’s Tea
Why is there no good tea outside of Ireland? Why?

8. Meanies
A certain Her.ie staff member knows a Meanie addict in Taiwan… It’s a problem.

9. Ballymaloe Relish
You don’t have the Country Relish here? Never eating burgers again.

*Thank God for the Irish shops abroad.
