The rumour mill has been churning this one out since last summer… Are they, aren’t they? But Rozanna Purcell has again insisted that the only ship sailing between herself and musician Bressie is a friendly one.
The 22-year-old former Miss Ireland told the Herald that she is very much single. “I don’t really have that much time to have a boyfriend. I’m always modeling or training.”
It is rumoured that the pair have been an item since last year.
Roz squashed claims made that she had in fact introduced the 6’6’ Mullingar man to her folks in Tipperary. “We’re not together at all… he didn’t visit my parents’ house.”
“I actually haven’t ever brought any of my ex-boyfriends back to my family house… I have never done that whole thing because I haven’t had that many serious boyfriends.”
Speculation began when the pair were spotted having a drink together in bar 37 Dawson Street last year after a promotional photocall.
Niall and Roz are often seen together on photocalls.
Roz and the 32-year-old singer took part in the Cycle Against Suicide campaign and relationship whispers were fuelled again after Roz attended Slane earlier in the summer where Bressie performed, but the model insists they’re “just friends.”
“There were thousands of people on that campaign; PJ Gallagher, Colm Hayes, and 4,000 other people,” she explained.
“I haven’t spoken to Bressie about the stories because it happens to lots of people. You just have to focus on other things.”
“I just ignore it; if you get caught up in it it’s just going to make it worse.”
