Today marks the one year anniversary of David Bowie’s death.
Many fans have turned to Twitter to mark the occasion and again reflect on the singers life.

British Gas jumped on the bandwagon and sent out a tweet that has caused offence to many of Bowie’s followers.

The tweet remains but the original poster and his colleagues are replying and apologising to each complaint.
