“This is information the world needs to know” – the long awaited trailer for the Wikileaks movie The Fifth Estate has been revealed.
The Fifth Estate tells the story of Wikileaks and its founder, the activist Julian Assange.
The film is partly based on the memoirs of ex-WikiLeaks spokesman Daniel Domscheit-Berg, and on a novel by British investigative journalists David Leigh and Luke Harding.
Based on real events this movie “reveals the quest to expose the deceptions and corruptions of power that turned an Internet upstart into the 21st century’s most fiercely debated organization. “
Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in the movie, and from the trailer he looks like he means business. Though we’re not fans of his new hairdo.
