Coronation Street star Katy Cavanagh and her filmmaker husband Chris Jupe have welcomed a baby boy.
Apparently the actress, who plays Julie Carp in the popular soap, gave birth to son Jacobi at the weekend. It was a home delivery.
The couple welcomed the new arrival at the weekend.
The Sun reports that Katy has now vowed to fight legislation which could make independent midwives illegal having been impressed with the services of Independent Midwives UK during her latest pregnancy.
The new arrival is the couple’s third child. They also have a son called Noah and a daughter called Jemma.
The actress has been on the soap since 2008.
