More than a week before Baby Royal is due and the paps are already taking up their spots outside the hospital in Central London.

Press from around the world are arriving to the area outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, the same hospital Prince William was born in back in 1982, Digital Spy reports.

A press pen has been set up by the hospital for the photographers and TV crews.

Thirty-one-year-old Kate is due to give birth to her first child later this month. It has been reported the due date is Saturday, July 13th.

A royal spokesperson said that the birth will be announced at the gates of Buckingham Palace, after the Queen, the Middleton family and other senior royals and officials have been informed of the baby news.

Kate looks pretty in pink.

“Some of Kate and William’s closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the royals recently,” a source said.

“They were all discussing the fact that Kate’s baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone was very excited.”

It has also been reported that Kate and Will don’t know if they’re expecting a future king or queen, even though a few clues may have been dropped with the colours chosen for their baby gear.

The family will be informed before the official baby announcement.

And so the countdown is on…
