Brian O’Driscoll, his wife Amy, the rest of the Lions team and their fans, are in shock this morning as the Leinster player was not only dropped from the Lions team, but from the match-day squad.
Lions manager Warren Gatland made six changes to the team, with the drop of BOD from the squad hitting headlines around the world this morning.

BOD: In shock.
“We told Brian this morning,” Gatland said this morning.
“Obviously, he was disappointed, as anyone would be, but he appreciated the fact that he was spoken to before the announcement.
“It’s the first time that any coach has had that decision with him in 15 years of rugby. It’s not easy for that to be the first time, but he’s still going to be very important for us for the next 72 hours in terms of his experience and leadership.”
Brian’s wife, actress Amy Huberman, and their daughter Sadie travelled to Oz this week to support the Leinster player for the end of his Lions career.
This morning, Amy tweeted the above, saying she is still proud of her “hubby”.

She also thanked all her friends and fans for the good wishes her family have been receiving this morning.
